About the position

SafeTraces is looking for a Production Scientist to help us advance our traceability, sanitation verification, and safe airflow verification solutions. The production scientist is responsible for performing tasks in the life sciences laboratory per standard operating protocols. The fast-moving nature of the work requires excellent attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multi-task and be flexible with tasks and schedules, and the ability to work independently in a team environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Design, conduct, and monitor laboratory experiments under general supervision
  • Produce qPCR master mix plates production per standard operating procedures
  • Prepare samples in large quantities
  • Perform daily qPCR tests
  • Collect and analyze qPCR data, form conclusions, and provide process improvements
  • Be responsible for the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of experimental results
  • Maintain accurate records and troubleshoot experiments
  • Participate in routine lab maintenance, lab safety.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years or M.S with 3+ years of relevant experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry or a related field

  • Experience with food and microbiological preparation
  • Ability to work independently, perform routine tasks, and prioritize to meet deadlines

  • Ability to recognize and resolve basic problems encountered in experimental procedures

About the position

SafeTraces is looking for a research associate responsible for performing tasks in the life sciences laboratory per standard operating protocols. What you’ll be doing

  • Make qPCR master mix for qPCR applications
  • Pipette qPCR master mix onto 96-well PCR plates
  • Load and run qPCR instruments
  • Collect and analyze qPCR data
  • Work with research team to support day-to-day workflow
  • Follow standard operating procedures
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Laboratory works include pipetting, aliquoting reagents, operating laboratory equipment, participating in routine lab maintenance and safety

The VP of Science will be responsible for developing and executing the scientific vision and strategy for our veriDART solution, integrating multiple technologies, disciplines, and processes into a scalable, world-changing solution for our customers. She/he will also be responsible for leading and building a high-performing team of interdisciplinary scientists, coordinating closely with other functions across the organization, and being a valuable member of the executive leadership team.   • Architect the end-to-end flow of information from user interactions through database storage
  • Design and build interactive user interfaces that enable completion of user objectives

  • Create and maintain unit tests for all layers of the system

About the position

SafeTraces is built on a global supply chain supporting customers in the built environment and food industry worldwide. As an integral member of the operations team, the Buyer / Planner will manage; purchasing contract manufacturer work order schedules and coordinate the logistics between CM’s, inbound and outbound logistics to customers and channel partners. This position requires adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Own Purchasing and Planning for contract manufacturing, channel partners and internal work orders. Ensure completion per production schedule.
  • Work closely with production supervisor and other internal production personnel. Ensure due dates align with production schedules.
  • Support NPI from planning support to full-scale production.
  • Coordinate all logistics between suppliers to meet deadlines.
  • Contribute to periodic supply chain reviews (open orders, inventory, etc.).
  • Maintain contract manufacturing bills of material in the ERP system.
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is followed, filed and properly maintained.

  • Minimum: 5 years purchasing and production planning, in a highly outsourced environment

  • 2+ years’ experience in a FDA regulated industry
  • Equipment planning experience desirable
  • APICS certification and ERP experience required
